What Is Leg Cramping?
Leg cramping is one of the most common complaints we hear from patients with vein disease. The cramping is usually more severe at night, particularly after a prolonged period of sitting or standing. When veins don’t function effectively, it can lead to a buildup of fluid in the legs, which can cause muscles to contract while you’re trying to sleep.
How Is Leg Cramping Treated?
At the Vein Care Center, we’ll use the latest ultrasound technology to determine whether an underlying vein disease is causing your leg cramping. Depending on what we find, we’ll be able to steer you in the right direction in terms of an appropriate treatment plan. We offer several different types of Vein Treatments. When you come to see us for your initial appointment, we’ll go over your options and medical history. Before you know it, you’ll be sleeping like a baby!
Knowing the symptoms of vein disease can help you recognize them earlier, which means you can get treatment earlier – and that often means achieving the best results possible. Let the caring and knowledgeable staff at Alaska Care Center help you look and feel your best.
